offer the tourist!
Perth the capital city of WA is the home of nearly 1.6 million people and is also called the city of lights, a name that
stems from the days when John Glenn first orbited the earth travelling over
Perth in his Mercury Friendship 7 space
capsule.
|
The Capital City of Perth Western Australia was originally founded by Captain James Stirling as
a Swan River Colony 1829
and is regarded the most isolated in the world. Perth the sunny capital of WA has a climate temperature range
of between 3 - 40 degrees Celsius rarely are these limits are exceeded.
For about six months of the year (during spring and autumn) the daily maximum temperature is usually between
21 and 29 degrees Celsius and is a dry climate, which is extremely comfortable,
often short sleeves are the order of the day.

Australia Day Fireworks
Since its original inception in 1984, the Australia Day Sky works has grown into a must see event for Perth local residents and
visiting holiday guests.
This free fireworks display is the major drawcard on 26th January every year.
This event is the largest in the nation, attracting about 400,000 to the Perth river foreshores
and vantage points such as Kings Park to watch the fireworks over Perth City skyline and Swan River.
The fireworks are synchronised to music soundtracks linked into a local Perth radio
